Center Grove Schools will have a question on the November 5, 2019 ballot, asking White River Township voters to approve an 11.5 cent ($0.115) tax levy to fund Safety, Security, and Mental Health & Classroom supports.
Your vote “Yes” will allow Center Grove to receive these important funds.
The decision to seek a tax levy is data-driven, based on recommendations from a Safety Audit, conducted by experts, of Center Grove’s current safety and security practices and a Community Survey of parents, staff, and White River Township residents.
The needs identified by the Safety Audit and the Community Survey aligned into four areas: Live Monitoring, Fast Response/Deterrents, Mental Health Supports/Screenings, and Improved Climate/Relationship/Social-Emotional Supports. From this data, Center Grove developed and refined a list of investments to update, enhance, and improve those areas. Click the bullets below to see the investments planned for each area:
